WBU Barred Owl Nest Box Live Cam
Watch Our Barred Owl Nest Cam!
The WBU Owl Cam is livestreaming now! A mama Barred Owl has set up residence in our owl nest box again this year and you can see inside with our WBU Owl Cam. If all goes well, we can expect the owlets to start hatching in mid-April. They’ll leave the nest four to five weeks after hatching.
Learn about the history of the Owl Box here. You can watch the 2020 Barred Owl Cam highlights here.
We’re having a contest!
We’re excited to offer viewers a chance to have a say in the “official” names for this year’s batch of Barred Owl nestlings! Viewers can suggest a name for each of the owlets and our cam host Jim Carpenter, CEO of Wild Birds Unlimited, will select the winning names. Share your suggestions for the names you think fit the two young owls best. The contest will end on Friday, April 30 at midnight nest time, so be sure to enter your names and share the opportunity with friends and family before then. Click here to enter!
